My visit with Dr. Sliva was fantastic. He explained what was wrong and what surgery needed to be done. He then allowed ample time for me to through every question and concern I had about the surgery. His answers allowed me to leave his office feeling confident about my upcoming surgery and recovery. His compassion for my care excelled any expectations I had prior to seeing him.
I highly recommend Dr. Sliva and his entire team at RSC. They are very organized and kept me informed of everything that was going on in my treatment. Both pre and post surgery, I was well taken care of.
The Rockford area is very fortunate to have Dr Sliva and his team. They are the most professional, friendly and understanding people. The rest of the health care community should take note of how this team interacts with their patients.
I have had back issues for more than a decade, I had one back surgery elsewhere 7 years ago, while it helped some at the time, I continued to have constant pain that affected every aspect of my life. dr Sliva has an excepional bedside manner, caring for his patients. This is my 2nd surgery, and i would recommend him to anyone with back issues. He is extremely knowledgable and proficient in his field.

Dr. Sliva and his team are some of the most compassionate people I have met in the medical field. Dr. Sliva took the time to ensure I understood what is going on with my condition as well as my treatment options. I was in control of my treatment the entire time; I never felt forced to make a decision I was not comfortable with. I call Dr. Christopher Sliva's hands 'miracle hands'. After struggling for a year with severe neck pain I woke up from my surgery with that pain completely gone.
