This is based on my first visit for herniated disc/pain issues by referral. Dr Meyer was excellent. He was patient, listened well, explained things clearly, showed concern, seemed very knowledgable, thorough, friendly. I could not ask for more from a Doctor. I would highly recommend him based on my first visit experience.

Dr. Meyer took his time, was attentive and sincerely listened. I felt my concerns were heard. His recommendations for me were practical and conservative which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to him for their back issues.
Awesome Dr and staff. Enabled me to have a quality of life and took my pain away. I was very pleased with every facet of the relationship, and recommend Dr. Meyer to anyone I know.. Thank you so much for giving me a life back. Pain free and moving forward for over 4 yrs now....
I have read most all the reviews and I understand some displeasure. But, the world is not perfect. Dr. Meyer is one of the best. If you have problems he can and will help you. Just like he did for me. But, be patient.
My patient went there for her severe back pain. She was told that doctor never sees the patient and only PA will see the patients. That is unacceptable! I am happy with healthcare fiasco now. Most doctors don't want to work and let a sub-optimal provider see patients without any supervision. Why should anyone become a doctor? Insist on real doctors only as they are trained deeply and they are intellectually more capable.
Business response:
Patients are never told they have to see my assistant. Many patients are in pain and can't wait until my next available appointment. To facilitate care for those patients, they are offered the OPTION to see my PA within a few days, so the work up and treatment can be started quickly. For complex issues or problems they can then be fast-tracked to see me in a few days. Most patients find this option helpful. I'm sorry if your patient was confused. I see 20-30 new patients each week.
Took his time, listened to my concerns especially since had back surgery yr ago March and still in an unbelievable amount of pain and other Dr. just pushed me out the door. Needless to say today he's having to do complete revision. Jennifer worked super hard to schedule me within a week, no easy task! The first visit wait time was longer than expected, but other times normal wait. DON'T let the wait time discourage you, he's worth it with how he listens, explains, not into #'s he can see in day
I have to commend this surgeon and thank him in so many ways. 15 years ago I was in a four wheeler accident and suffered from fractured vertabra. This Doctor performed a lumbar fusion surgery across 5 vertabrae with bone graft from my hip bone and I am alive and walking to this day. This Doctor essentially saved my life and I will be forever grateful.
The wait time is terrible. The last time my husband came, the wait was almost 3 hours. I feel scheduling needs to be more accurate. (I think I would have left).
