I feel as though the provider spoke with me as the medically complex individual I am and not as though I'm just one more patient. I appreciate that he recognized I do have some medical knowledge as opposed to my being the type of patient who can't even name my meds. He tailored his explanations and discussions to my level of understanding which I rarely find.
He does not jump to conclusions. Some other physicians do. His initial treatment makes sense. If it's all I need, that would be a nice surprise. If not, he'll know more when he thinks about the next step. I was relieved that a surgeon with his long experience was not alarmed when he saw my spinal problem.
Dr Meyer is phenomenal
Dr. Meyer is one of the good physicians. He provides excellent care for his patients, he is one of the few who listens to your concerns and provides feedback, he doesn't force solutions on you. He shares what your options are and allows you to decide the next step.
Overall Dr Meyer is very clear and caring about the patient. He listens and explains well the situation and treatement

Dr. Meyer was wonderful as he talked with me about the need for a possible surgical procedure. His sat and talked with me, explained the rationale, next steps and gave me the names of two colleagues to see for a second opinion. He has been my trusted orthopedic guide, and I was very grateful for his help and support.
