As a gyn oncologist, I believe in treating patients as if they were my own family. In my practice, I am able to offer a full range of individualized therapies to women with gynecologic cancer and complex benign disease: state of the art surgery, including minimally invasive techniques, as well as chemotherapy and cutting edge clinical trials. I find that the relationships that I am able to form with women and their families are among the most rewarding aspects of my life.

Excellent MD! Very thorough, fantastic surgeon, understanding, compassionate, great bedside manner!!!
Dr. Chu has been my oncologist since May 2019. Diagnosed with Stage 1C, Grade 3 Ovarian Cancer which is a "clear cell cancer , a very aggressive cancer - high risk cell type, high grade tumor. Total hysterectomy, 5 Chemo treatments. Dr. Chu has always been thorough, asked questions, answered my questions, blood work, mammograms and checked on my latest tests from Jeanes Hospital when I was admitted on 8/26-27/21. I am very comfortable with Dr. Chu.
Rude. Offered no follow-up PT or mental health care following radical gyn surgery
My wife had Stage 1 cancer localized to her uterus. Dr. Chu performed a full hysterectomy and said after surgery that she thinks she got it all. Dr. Chu performed my surgery just a month ago, and I can't say enough good things about her. She was the only 1 of 4 gyn oncologists that I visited who took the time to explain my options, and wasn't immediately pushing for a hysterectomy. She knows her stuff. She won't pull her punches, but she will also put you at ease. Can't ask for more than that -- and she has a great team.
