Burger joints in Houston are serious business. With sharp competition like Christian's Tailgate, a proper Heights (gastro) Icehouse, other burger-makers in town better up their game. Their White Oak location was perfectly adapted to its surroundings, with its Austin-like semi-open-air structure, which is different from their proper sports bar facility in Midtown. Taco Tuesday the best. Fish tacos for a buck. Drink specials. Friendly people.
Wednesday is steak night. About 12 bucks for a steak and bake potato. Great atmosphere and the service is nice. Would have given a 4 star but the beer was warm. Tried some bottle beer but same result. Will try another day.
I didn't go in.... but it looked great from the outside.
They had a wet spot on the floor and I fell and then when I ordered my food the fries were cold this could been a lawsuit I have arthritis in my knees very hard for me to get back to you
This place has great food but the SERVICE IS ALWAYS TERRIBLE. You will wait 45 - 60 minutes from walking in to having food in front of you. Literally writing this while waiting for drinks. We've been sitting here for 32 minutes. She took our drink order 15 minutes ago. ALWAYS like this. Great food but damn. Get it together.

I think people talking shit have never worked in the food industry or have no empathy. We were a full party and yeah the wait was long but duh...? And it was SOOOO GOOD. Best mushroom Swiss burger cooked to order I've had in a long time. Don't get me started on their sweet potato fries ooh yummy! All I'd add is some microbrews to the tab/menu, everybody loves a good little bar with some local microbrews! That is all, Pierce out!
