RecommendedI went into the Wilmington Emergency Room on 6/20/19 at 9:30PM with severe abdominal pain. It was very busy. I registered and my vitals were taken. An IV site was established and blood was drawn. I waited awhile and was finally called back. My nurse was TERRIFIC! I started back up with diarrhea and just kept apologizing every time it happened! Ugh. I had an intestinal infection and didn’t know it, and was suffering through food poisoning. A terrible day! I would go there again and recommend it too. Thank you for your HELP!
Reserved a spot online. Got right in. Short wait for Dr. In and out in 30 minutes. Everyone pleasant. Clean and great experience.
Probably Ok for internal medicine, but not for diagnoses or treatment of anything requiring an X-Ray. My daughter went there to see if she had fractured her foot. One X-Ray later, the answer was no. We took a copy of the X-Ray. When her foot pain worsened, we went to a podiatrist. Her foot was fractured. Christiana care took the X-Ray incorrectly. It should have been an weight bearing.
Waiting in er 12 hours for husband to be admitted - ridiculous!
Waited 5 hours to see an ER doctor. The resident fumbled around with equipment in the eye room and they never really seemed confident of anything. Very disappointing.

RecommendedI brought my son to this hospital because he had extreme poison ivy. His pediatrician couldn’t help any more in an out patient capacity. We were seen quickly. Everyone we encountered was professional, kind and eager to help. Dr. Jeremy was beyond awesome. He gave my son an extra dose of os steroids and that gave him the nudge we needed to get better. We will definitely go here if needed again.
have family in er exam room. I am only visitor. How can there be only 1 chair available in entire d core er area. I would understand if short 1 chair or 2, but have none. I have choice of sitting on floor or standing in room. I asked couple times and still can not find any. Now this is minor, but for as much money this place makes cant buy a simple chair.
