Im having an acute pancreatitis attack caused by my diabetes. I’ve been laying in a hallway for 6 hours. Nurses are no help at all. They give you the minimum amount of pain meds, that only work for an hour, and nothing else. They haven’t checked my sugar in 5 1/2 hours. I had to ask for IV fluids because of my kidney problems. Since the number one cause of pancreatitis is alcoholism, they treat me like a pariah.
