The Emergency room service is the worst I've ever been to been in waiting room my wife in pain nine people came in after her already been seen, I would never come Here I'll probably die in the waiting room

An absolute nightmare to deal with entry through the Emergency Room. Thirteen hours of a hall bed where private demographic information, test results and doctor discussions are said openly within the hallway for all to hear. What a flagrant violation of patient privacy HIPAA laws! From a hall bed when emergency got even busier to what they call a Z Bed. My husband laid in the hallway for 11 hours was brought in by ambulance for abdominal pain was given a CT scan and malox. The staff are rude,hospital is dirty. If you aren't of color you'll be ignored. Christiana hospital never fails to disappoint. They were assholes when my daughter gave birth. Stay away from this place

Intimidated and put at risk by a doctor. Patients rights not explained. I have had mostly poor experiences with ChristianaCare, but this was by far the worst I have ever had. Their systematic dismantling of Northern Delaware healthcare is almost complete, requiring you to use their services no matter how much they have let you down in the past. Their monopoly should be broken up, fast.

Terrible experience. (had to lick on 1 star to submit but no star merited). If you have an emergency during the weekend, go to Philly. You will not be helped here. At least if you have a dermatological emergency. Nobody in the ER with knowledge and they don't even try to find somebody. (But charged us of course) They sent us home to come back on Monday to see a Dermatologist. Surprise, surprise - on Monday, they refused to take us in. "No walk-ins accepted". The front desk at Wilmington pike @ Chadds Ford is pathetic. They are not shrewd and not helpful.

I went to ER based on the advise of the urgent care doctor because I am having chest pain and my blood pressure was 220-118. I checked in at 8:30 pm, they had my ekg, blood works and vitals. During this time, they noted that my BP went up from my urgent care visit. They sent me back to the waiting room at around 9 pm. No one checked in on me even though I told them of the chest pain I’m having. They called me again at 5:30 am. Trauma Unit : At approximately 6:45 am 12/27/2020, the shift RN, Nicole Mills, and her tech, Kanij, used extremely POOR JUDGEMENT by bringing a patient in to share room 2C24 with me & occupy bed B. The patient had previously been resting outside near the nurses’ station, since being brought to the trauma floor on the previous night. In that time frame, the tech had relayed to me that “my neighbor is out of control and did not know where she was”, which was why she was not brought into the room upon arrival.
