RecommendedI can't rave enough about Chipman Road Animal Clinic. Our Rottweiler Chief was diagnosed diabetes and they walked us through the experience and where wonderful. 2 years into his diagnosis on January 17th I noticed he wasn't feeling well, which can happen with diabetes. He was getting older and was pretty lazy so just let him relax. By mid morning he wouldn't get up. When I finally got him up he was panting so hard you would swear he just ran a mile. Edit: Dr. Holt met me at the office after closing to take care of our pups, which I greatly appreciate. In all fairness this is the first big disappointment we’ve had in 10 years and we do find great value in them taking walk ins, which I am aware has added complications for them. After patiently fighting Giardia the last couple months with our puppies I called to check on their last stool sample 3 days after I dropped it off. Didn’t get to see my favorite vet Dr Cook, but Dr Rooney treated my cat nicely.
I would highly recommend Chipman Road Animal Clinic! I have been taking my dogs there for almost 13 years and they are very helpful and compassionate. We ended up having to say goodbye to our 12 year old German Shepherd in February and Dr Rooney and his team were very compassionate and truthful about the situation. I truly am thankful for for Dr Rooney not sugarcoating the situation and how kind he was to us through the whole process of saying goodbye. We’ve taken our dogs for years there and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The doctors are very knowledgeable always so patient and kind when checking our pets over. I don’t want to neglect praising the staff and front desk their always pleasant and friendly. I’d definitely recommend this Clinic.
Good, solid, gentle care for many years! Many of my grand dog and grand kitties have been patients here!
