As a spinal surgeon, my primary goal is to help patient to reduce pain and discomfort. I take a very conservative approach to spinal surgery and will try non-operative treatment measures whenever possible. Surgery is considered when these measures are not successful. I have combined training in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. I offer minimally-invasive techniques whenever possible to ensure the quickest recovery and return back to a functional life! You do not have to live with pain!

Dr Sampat did disc surgery on me two times and I have had great results both times. Had fusions done and was relieved of pain both times. Would recommend him to everyone who is having back issues.

I had pain in my left shoulder and neck one morning when I woke up. Came out of nowhere and got progressively worse. Over the course of the next three months, I was passed from Primary Dr to Shoulder Specialist to PT, all just racking up bills and proving no relief. Thanks to Dr. Sampat for everything he has done for me and his team they are a great group together and has always taken care of me with the 2 surgery’s I’ve had as well as helping me when needing injections as well! I was considering being a patient of Dr Sampat but unfortunately he did not fit my expectations and his poor judgement of my conditions..He wasted a lot of precious time for me and making me miss my window of changing my insurance so I can get the care I desperately need...He is very popular at Silver Cross but he totally dropped the ball on my care. Glad to find out now before it was to late and he physically made me worse. Dr's our only human but lying to patients is unforgivable..
Absolutely awesome experience with Dr Sampat and his staff. I had a seriously painful bulging disc and Dr Sampat performed surgery. Was to the point where I could hardly stand and walk, but 7 weeks after my surgery I can say that I am close to 100%. The improvement is remarkable and I highly recommend Dr Sampat.
Dr Sampat performed a Micodiscectomy on my lower back due to severe sciatic nerve pain, numbness and weakness in left leg. Dr Sampat explained everything very well, answered all of my questions and took time to address any concerns. The surgery went as planned and I walked about an hour after the surgery. Went back to work after three weeks and some physical therapy. Now three months later I feel great and am still pain free. I highly recommended Dr Sampat, he is a highly skilled surgeon.
Dr Sampat was very conservative and recommended therapy instead of surgery and my back pain has subsided. Very professional.
