As a spinal surgeon, my primary goal is to help patient to reduce pain and discomfort. I take a very conservative approach to spinal surgery and will try non-operative treatment measures whenever possible. Surgery is considered when these measures are not successful. I have combined training in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. I offer minimally-invasive techniques whenever possible to ensure the quickest recovery and return back to a functional life! You do not have to live with pain!

Dr. Sampat was very knowledgeable, thorough, informative, and kind. He encouraged me to seek a second opinion and even gave me names of other surgeons he recommended. Upon completion of my surgery, the pain was instantly gone, and I was well on my way to recovery. I’ve been seeing Dr Sanpat on and off for over 11 years with multiple spine issues. After several bad falls in the past years, and increased pain, it was time to return to find a solution. It was determined that I needed back surgery and it would be a very invasive surgery involving not only my abdominal area, but but back. I can't say enough about Dr. Sampat and his team. I went to him with back pain and leg numbness. He listened to everything I had to say, did a very thorough exam, and communicated his findings and recommendations clearly. He ended up having to remove a cyst as well as a doing spinal fusion on L4-L5. The surgery changed my life! After following all his instructions for a year, I am pain free, have no numbness, and can do everything just as well as before. I would recommend him to anyone who is experiencing back problems.
Dr. Sampat repaired a fracture in my back and I am so glad to be getting back on my feet. Dr. Sampat and the staff are so caring and helped me tremendously.
Dr. Sampat is very personable and ensured my experience went smoothly. I chose Dr. Sampat after visiting two other doctors due to spondylolisthesis. He made me feel comfortable about the procedure (ALIF) from the beginning. The surgery went very well and my pain stopped immediately. I also had a smooth post-op experience and everything went according to plan. I highly recommend Dr. Sampat.
This is a little late but, August 28th was one year for my c5,6 &7 fusion and I can not recommend Dr. Sampat and his assistant, Lauren to enough people. Dr. Sampat was (real) from the beginning in letting me know what to expect through the procedure all the way to rehab. If anyone can see Dr. Sampat as an initial visit, 2nd opinion or even 3rd opinion-----DO IT !!!!! wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
Couldn't have asked for better because Dr Sampat was amazing. I would totally recommend him to anyone with back pain.
Dr. Sampat is a very caring, professional, proficient surgeon. I would and have recommended him to anyone who has back problems. He did not rush to surgery as a first option, but gave other options for pain first- epidurals,etc.. Eventually surgery was necessary and the outcome was exceptionally good! His PA and staff were very cooperative whenever I had questions or concerns.
DR SAMPAT DID A FUSION ON MY L4-L5 WITH GREAT RESULTS ! THE PAIN I WAS HAVING FROM A BULGING DISK PRESSING ON MY SPINAL CORD WAS JUST TERRIBLE AT TIMES IS ALL GONE !! THANK YOU SIR !!!
