As a spinal surgeon, my primary goal is to help patient to reduce pain and discomfort. I take a very conservative approach to spinal surgery and will try non-operative treatment measures whenever possible. Surgery is considered when these measures are not successful. I have combined training in neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. I offer minimally-invasive techniques whenever possible to ensure the quickest recovery and return back to a functional life! You do not have to live with pain!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Sampat so I will keep it short. I had three years with pain in my back shoulder and left arm due to an laboral accident. I consulted other doctors, I went to rehabilitation for a long time and I never found help until I consulted Dr. Sampat. Dr. Sampat is an excellent surgeon. I'm only three weeks status post lumbar laminectomy and I am not taking any pain medication (including OTC pain relievers). I am enormously impressed with his skills and equally impressed with his compassion, kindness and attention.
