Excellent food...a little pricey – Try the sesame chicken, it's amazing. It is a little on the expensive side but worth the money. They are also closed on Monday.
we found our new chinese restaurant – We are so very pleased with the meal we just had. The service was wonderful, the food was wonderful. There is nothing bad about this restaurant. I was so surprised at the prices, very reasonable.
Awesome – We've been looking for that "goto" Chinese restaurant - and we've finally found it on Citysearch. Good value, great service, and (get this) better than PF Changs. The dinner for two special: soup, egg rolls (chicken), crab rangoon, large platters of Mongolian Beef and General Tso's Chicken - $30. Can't beat it. Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Service was prompt and friendly, location/decor is quaint, and the General Tso's was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.
best in the business – i've been here a few times and i have to say that this place is the best place to get great chinese food, and its hard to find it here in detroit. The food is savory and light, as opposed to most chinese restaurants. But the best part is the value. If you havent checked it out, you definitely should if you live in the D.
yummy – Warm and friendly service, with great Asian hospitality. The food is dilicious and the price is fair. Most Chinese restaurants do not have bars, it's amazing that China Cafe has one with good service .

Hang out at the Bar. Talk Eat Enjoy Life – Great Food & Conversation. The Real China Cafe Experience is to come early, have a Diet Pepsi with Lime at the bar, relax, strike up a conversation with other patrons and/or the owners. Excellent Starters !!! Son John Paul and I do two orders of Crab Rangoon to get started. Try my one of my favorites, "FunkyTofooBalls" (my name for it). Fish Specials come with a Wonderful salad.
Where Everybody Knows Your Name – This restaurant is the closest thing to "Cheers" in your neighborhood, without Cliff and Norm. My husband and I discovered this place when they opened, soon after we moved to Novi. We highly recommend this restaurant to all. We have been to several other chinese restaurants in the area, including the chain on Haggerty. When it comes to comparison.... the bottom line, there is none. China Cafe is number one. just can't get enough – I have been to a lot of chinese restaurant .This one is by far the best ,the most friendly restaurant i have ever been to.My boyfriend and i had lettce wrap for appetizer,their lettce wrap is the best lettce wrap i ever had.For dinner my server nancy suggested general tso's chicken and asian angel hair pasta with shrimp in some kind of spicy garlic sauce.let me say this"we were in heaven".
