The BEST on the WEST(side)! – I found China Cafe on Citysearch and realize it's rated high for a reason -- EVERYTHING is good here and the staff is super friendly. If you live far, the drive is worth the experience. The owners are right at the bar...you've gotta love that!
The traditional Chinese fare is a local favorite at this suburban strip-mall find. – In Short A fish tank and full bar welcome patrons before they enter the main dining room, which features a warm and comfortable blend of traditional Chinese decor with a modern flair. Regulars insist that the cuisine ranks amongst the best Chinese in the Detroit area, with the creatively prepared crab rangoon, lettuce wraps, five pepper beef and General Tso's chicken supporting their claims.
Definately Worth The Drive! – We ate here tonight...and it was definately worth the trip. We ate a late dinner, so the place seemed more like a bar with some tables...but it was a cute place. The waitress recommended the dinner for 4 for us..and it was more than enough for 5 people. The food was absolutely delicious! Best Chinese! – This is the best Chiniese in the metro area!!! Not only is the food consistantly good, the service is excellent and the owners are so welcoming! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Greatest Chinese food – I didn't even like Chinese food until I went to the China Cafe. Now it is "My" place to go. Suzanne and Kelly, the owners, and their staff make sure you are right at home. Everything on the menu is great but don't be afraid to ask Kelly to make a suggestion or just "make me something beef (or chicken or whatever)" for a delicious surprise that isn't on the menu. Excellent food...a little pricey – Try the sesame chicken, it's amazing. It is a little on the expensive side but worth the money. They are also closed on Monday.
we found our new chinese restaurant – We are so very pleased with the meal we just had. The service was wonderful, the food was wonderful. There is nothing bad about this restaurant. I was so surprised at the prices, very reasonable.
Awesome – We've been looking for that "goto" Chinese restaurant - and we've finally found it on Citysearch. Good value, great service, and (get this) better than PF Changs. The dinner for two special: soup, egg rolls (chicken), crab rangoon, large platters of Mongolian Beef and General Tso's Chicken - $30. Can't beat it. Some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Service was prompt and friendly, location/decor is quaint, and the General Tso's was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.
