My family and I usually don't do reviews like this but for Derrik we are going above and beyond like he did for us. We had a challenging situation with several family members involved when we needed to sell our mother's home after she passed away. Derrik showed us homes in Park City a few months back. He was very professional and understanding of what we wanted in a home. He's done a fantastic job keeping us informed about available homes and his communication has been exceptional.

Derrik has a vast knowledge of real estate and loves people. He not only wants to help people get a great deal he wants to help them find a home. He can help analyze investments and understands the financing process. You won't meet someone as fun to deal with when looking for a home. He helped me find a home out of state and gave me great advice when purchasing my first home. He did all of his when he had no financial incentive to do so.

The best part about him is that he takes your sale personally - as if it were his own home he was buying...in the sense of his negotiation, promptness and follow up which were 6 star (if I could give a rating that high). He definitely stays very much on top of the process and the deadlines so something doesn't "slip through the cracks." The sellers even let us know that it was him that called them to get items when the sellers' agent was not responding so that our closing wouldn't be held up waiting on someone else. Derrik had a great depth of knowledge regarding Park City and the properties available. Ultimately, it was not the right time for us to buy a ski property but I appreciated his communication and how he helped educate us on the real estate market in PC. When we do decide to buy we'll be giving Derrik a call.

Derrik was extremely helpful in this sale as we were relocated on short notice. He put in place a pricing strategy that we were comfortable with and it really helped to keep our showings up. While we were half way around the world he kept us informed on almost a daily basis. Now as we look to relocate back to Utah we have an agent we can trust.
