Wow... what a smooth sale of our home. Just have to comment on this. We closed the transaction on the sale of our old house here in Utah. Signatures at 10:30 a.m. - property transfer, wire transfer complete and the proceeds/funds are in our bank - all before 3:30 p.m. We only needed to sign 12 documents, and a couple of those were to transfer ownership of water rights and shares. I met Derrik a few years ago at an open house and he's always been great to talk to about real estate. How he views real estate comes from a different angle than most and it's always a pleasure running into him.
My husband and I have worked with several agents over the years in seeing properties in the Midway area. Some agents weren't very knowledgable about the area or market but Derrik isn't just a regular agent. He knew a lot about properties in Midway, Red Ledges, Kamas, and Park City. We were very impressed and will be using him when we buy next year.
We came for Sundance and left with a home in Deer Valley. Our plan was to get a feel for the neighborhoods in Park City then come back in the spring to buy a home. Derrik didn't put pressure on us to buy (I really liked that about him) and is a very genuinely guy. Helped find us a home that my wife loved and we couldn't let it slip away.
