We went to the ER because my toddler got nursemaids elbow while we were playing. We were immediately taken to a room and did not have to wait at all. The doctor fixed it in 5 seconds, and he even gave her a baby doll toy set as a little treat for being brave that my daughter won’t put down. The hospital was clean, beautiful, and they even have a rainbow light bridge you get to walk through. It was evident these amazing healthcare workers love children. I cannot recommend this ER enough. THANK YOU!
Everything was great besides being there all night and never getting admitted after being told we would. Got discharged at 3am and before I left I asked one of the nurses to watch my toddler while I ran to the bathroom and she said yes I will then as soon as I got into the bathroom she left the room! Just left my sleeping 1 year old on the bed after me asking her to sit with him for literally 5 mins so I could go to the bathroom. Hello, my name is Teletha Finch, My deceased son’s name is Jacobi Finch. On July 17th my son Jacobi needed to stay over night at Children’s Hospital In Birmingham, , to get a TON change in his milk. Dr. Galloway and Linda Wilkerson were his GI Dr.’s.Jacobi had Liver issues, that’s why he was getting the milk changed. We stayed over night. The nurses gave Jacobi 150mg of his own medication 3 different times during the overnight stay. His regular dose is 50mg 3 times a day..
