An awesome hospital for kids. I've been here before with other friends' children so always knew it was a great place. My son & and wife currently have their youngest son up there with a serious illness and they have nothing but praise for the doctors and nurses here.
The emergency room department and staff just basically suck. I've taken all three of my kids here at some point of time. My youngest I had to take back twice in the same day. Was given two different diagnoses and asked for a chest x-Ray to be done, to which the 2nd Dr. Said absolutely not he wasn't showing signs of pneumonia. Gave him an breathing treatmemt and showed us out the door. Next day I took him to his clinic because he was only getting worse. My son arrived via ambulance with acute appendicitis which turned out to be much more serious as the appendix had ruptured some time earlier. The second we got out of the ambulance the entire staff, including security guards, cafeteria workers, janitorial staff, and especially nurses and doctors have been so welcoming and caring toward my child. I. Am. In. Awe!!!!
My 7 month old had surgery and it was so comforting to meet everyone that was going to be with him in the OR. They are great!
