I have been here since sunday... in pediatric icu everything and everyone is the best first time we ever been here....
This is a fabulous hospital. Everyone from volunteers to maintenance staff is so friendly and helpful. Iam so thankful for the Drs and nurses, anesthesiologist, radiology, orthopedic team, everyone deserves 10stars! From the bottom of my heart my baby and I thank you.
My daughter had surgery on March 13. There was only 1 person who was the rudest person we dealt with and she was the one who checked us in. The rest of the people were the bomb. The surgeon who did my daughter surgery did the surgery under 20 mins. And the last surgeon who did this same surgery took 4 hours. The nurses and everyone we dealt with did a great job. Keep up the work that you do.
Every one was so nice and I loved the waiting room so inviting for the kids.
This visit was ridiculous! The staff was unattentive, the preteen patients were coughing in the waiting room without covering or wearing a mask. We got there around 10pm 8 ppl were ahead of us. By 1am 4 ppl were ahead of us. We finally decided to leave shortly before 3am.
After being transported due to respiratory distress my 6 month old coded in the ER. It was controlled chaos and after 4 minutes of compressions they got his heart started again. He spent 6 days in ICU and in that time the ER doc and his medical transport team came to check on him. He has made a full recovery and is our happy little man thanks to the professionalism and care of the staff.
Our son was admitted with low o2 levels from his primary care giver and we were rushed to er after his stats started to drop. The doctors at Children's Mercy saved our son's life.
