My youngest Daughter got electrocuted and had gotten 2nd and 3rd degree burns. My local hospital sent us there. Wonderful well trained staff who really care and very helpful that not only help met my daughter's medical needs but also assisted my wife's needs as well as mine. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU, TO ALL THE STAFF OF CHILDREN'S MERCY HOSPITAL!!!
My son has been hospitalized for two week starting on May 8th for two weeks, and then again on June 12th. He's still in the hospital as week speak. They don't know what's wrong. The nurses are great, but the doctors spend a lot of time wanting to wait and watch. My wife and I want to take him to a different hospital but we can't because they won't discharge him, and if we take him ourselves, the hospital will call DCFS. They don't have a diagnosis for my son. All the doctors say that they can treat the symptoms, but in actua... read more
My 5 year old son broke his arm badly and had to have pins put in. I was so grateful that there was a great team working on this holiday! We came in the evening(3rd) and they kept him comfortable until morning(4th). We ended up going home not too long after and he's doing great and enjoying watching fireworks!
I've had 2 kids inpatient at CMH; 1 THAT was in for 3 months after being born 13 weeks early and 1 that was there for a month with heart defects, open heart surgery, and a ton of complications after his OHS. There is no hospital I would take my children to other than Children's Mercy KC if given a choice . The staff is amazing, they treat my kids with the utmost care. I don't know about on the coasts, personally, but in the Midwest you cannot get better than CMH <3
It is a really nice place to work at. Everybody there is really nice. Except for me most of the people that works there they are making a Difference in a child's life I am a believer in that. That is why I gave it 5 stars
Every single person is amazing here!!! Thank you for being such a great place for our not so fun situation!
