My granddaughter, Sophia, was treated at Children's Mercy for over a year. The nursing staff and medical staff were wonderful and compassionate. The palliative care team was especially good in helping us work through the many issues surrounding terminal illnesses. Wonderful place!
Doctor's at CMH saved my grandsons life after another hospital and doctors sent him home after his birth when he had not had not stooled at all in life! At a week old he was aa very sick little guy couldn't eat was throwing up stool that had backed up into his tummy . Found out he had hirschsprungs. Thank you CMH from one proud Grandma. Ps also have had lots of hospital stays in the past 2 & 1/2 yrs.. an you all make us feel at home.

Children's Mercy is the good place to go.
I think CMH is a wonderful place. Just like anywhere there is gonna be some bumps and my biggest complaint would be the doctors and nurses, especially with shift change not everyone is on the same page! However, I do believe it wasn't for all the people involved and the hands of Dr.Hornig my seven year old would have had a very different outcome than she has.
