This is hospital in recent days has shown the textbook definition of gross negligence!!!
Just intolerable. I pray no one EVER goes to this hospital. We have had 2 very bad experiences with this hospital. Tonight, my daughter went to Methodist ER for stomach pains. It turns out that she had acute appendicitis, we found out Methodist is not in our medical plan so the doctor at Methodist was trying to have her transferred to Memorial Herman who is in our plan. When a patient requests his or her medical records calling for four days at least five times each day and no one picks up in medical records but about a follow up call the patient has told all the doctor can request them and get these right away but if a patient requested it takes several days. This is a violation because the records belong to the patient not the doctor
The ER experience is super slow and to top it off I have called over 10 times to try and get my culture results and when they transfer me to medical records NOONE PICKS UP. And there’s no option to leave a voicemail; it just hangs up in your face. I call back to front desk and none of them know how to help me. At this point I’m frustrated... I just want my results faxed to my primary care physician.
