Love Tampa General !! Amazing staff and so welcoming : I had a Bilateral Lung Transplant at T G H 5/30/14 which saved my life - after care has been amazing - went in yesterday for a 3 month check up and Dr Haddad saved my life again when all I thought was a cold turn out to be R S V , I cannot praise him enough . He more than a Dr he truly CARE about all of his patients and is there for you .
My husband had a single lung transplant at the age of 74 at Tampa General Hospital Everyone there was so caring and kind.. Dr Haddad and Dr Rolfe were the best in class. They took a chance with a patient over 65 and the results were truly spectacular. Most Doctors have an age limit of 65, but these doctors believe that age is not an indicator of transplant. Overall health is.. What a concept..LOL. I would recommend these doctors to anyone with a pulmonary issue...
Spent 6 days in ICU with my mom. All of the staff was wonderful, the nurses, chaplains, doctors, and palleative team.
What a great experience. Nurses have gone up and above for me. The nurses on the 9th floor are great.. And a big shout out to April Inn Observation unit. You are an outstanding nurse. TGH are very lucky to have you there. You are a great asset to TGH. Thank you especially for all you did for me. Thank you TGH for getting me better. I am not there yet. But your Dr's are doing everything to find a solution.
On Nov 15, 2016 my daughter got hit by a car. The ambulance sent her straight to TGH. I'm so glad they did. They expected her to be in picu for at least a week but through prayers and an amazing staff she was sent to a reg room in day 3 and sent home on day 4!! I recommend TGH to any person who wants to receive great care. They were so nice with her and joked around with us and made us feel like we were home and knew them for years. Just to help us get heigh this hard time! !I love this hospital! !
This is my second stay in 2 years. I can not express how happy I am with TGH. From housekeeping, food service, phlebotomist, medical assistants and Nurses from 7A were amazing.
My surgeon Dr Hooker an staff were amazing.an the nursing crew on ct thoracic critical care unit took exceptional care of me .bilateral lung transplant 11/4/16 home 14 days later ,,,thank you
