I absolutely LOVE everyone at TGH! My six year old son Bo had a very complicated surgery and is currently at TGH for several weeks of inpatient rehab. He has been there for weeks and everyone there has cared for him as if he were their own. I live nearly two hours away in Citrus County. I am only able to visit a couple times a week due to the expense, distance, and other children at home. The team at TGH has done everything they can to give me peace of mind. Its way to complicated its all about the money now ten years ago was a great hospotal
Staff is caring, professional, and friendly. We were treated like guests instead of patients. Nurses & Tech's are top-notch !
I had a double lung transplant and heart repairs at TGH a little over two months ago and I finally feel like a normal person. Before the transplant I was hospitalized for 9 months of the last 2 years. Dr. Hooker did an amazing job on my surgery. Dr. Mackie and Dr.Patel are the best Dr's that I could ever ask for. And the nursing staff is better than any other hospital. I was always well taken care of while I was there and felt safe even though I was dying at the time.
