For 100 years, the mission of Children's HealthSM has been to make life better for children. Our beginnings in 1913 were humble, but our vision even then was big. Today, our team takes great pride in being the eighth-largest pediatric health care provider in the country, and the only academically affiliated pediatric hospital in the area. Children's Medical Center Dallas is home to the only academic healthcare system in North Texas that is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children from birth to age 18.

We had a wonderful experience this week at Childrens. From Thomas in the ER to Kiele and Hailey on B4, to the ENT Attending, Resident, and students, plus the amazing Dr Judy Lee, everyone made her feel safe and comfortable. The playrooms and library are wonderful. The therapeutic art room was our favorite. Childrens staff didnt miss a beat in making a very scary experience bearable, even fun!
If you don't have insurance they don't want to help, these people don't care about my child, they won't do a culture to find out what has infected his hand, they won't give him antibiotics, and won't admit him to monitor his breathing, 92% oxygen is low, 3 Dr's in East Texas said he needs to be admitted but these hot head Dallas Dr's think they know better, I don't think so. 5 breathing treatments, 2 of them lasted 1hr a piece, and no improvement, obviously it's not asthma, it's some sort of infection but they don't care don... read more
Wonderful place for children
Doctors and nurses are so amazing.
My daughter has been at Children’s in Dallas for a little over a month now, on the cardiac floor..She is only 3 months old! She is what I would always hear “A very critical baby” and that she might not make it..Here at Children’s, yes they do say she is a very critical baby but they always tell me that have it fully under control, and their actions show they do! They have accomplished more in this past month than we did 2 months at her previous hospital! My daughter may have a life time of these up’s, Downs and fights, but I... read more
They went above and beyond for my daughter! Especially the nurses and doctors on the C9 Hall! We are so thankful. They even threw her a birthday party with presents for her third birthday and all sang to her. We will forever be grateful for all of the special people who helped our daughter and make our stay there so much easier. Top notch care and top notch staff!!!
