I love this hospital. I want to thank everyone working here. They took care of my lil one so well. After a misdiagnosis from another hospital we transferred to Childrens Hospital where they eased my mind and my heart. Its great they everyone working there is amazing with children.
My son was treated at CHLA for a serious but rare spinal condition. His case was shepherded through by multiple teams working in concert across their respective fields of discipline to achieve a fantastic result. After surgery, he was looked after by the teams working together with a fabulous nursing team. At every stage, everyone was not only professional but also deeply engaged and caring. It was a wonderful experience.
I am a former patient of Children's Hospital Los Angeles and had surgery there in 1996 when I was 10. One thing I remember is that everyone was kind to me and when I woke up in the recovery room I was scared because I couldn't see it was eye surgery. The nurse was there very quickly, she just talked to me and explained that I was safe and my parents would see me soon. It also made me really happy when I went back for a follow up visit and my doctor stopped talking to another doctor in the hallway to say hi to us.
