My 6 year old daughter just had her first inpatient experience at Children's. Thank you to the nurses, doctors, and child life for all that they did. It was scary, uncomfortable, and sometimes painful for her but they did all they could in West 11 for her to get through it. The compassion that we received was amazing and I feel like she was always well cared for. Thank you.
I was here and I lived 10/10
In the beginning of my daughters treatment I would give the hospital a 5. This hospital saved her life, she had cancer and her Dr (all Doctors and Nursing staff) were great. But there was issues with Illinois insurance and she was kicked out of the hospital which I find completely unethical. She was an established patient for 4 yrs and was told she would be followed for 10 yrs total. People ask how I am coping with the news that my 14 month old twin daughters are facing heart transplant surgery and it's because of the care they are receiving from everyone at Children's. The bed side nurses are all fantastic and provide more empathy and pure compassion for their well being. The doctors are all amazing and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
My daughter she will be 2 soon has been at Childrens twice in her small life both times with pneumonia, breathing and oxygen level problems. Each time they doctors and nurses have taken really good care of my princess. All the nurses are so sweet with her and make her feel comfortable and the doctors are fun and make her laugh!! I really love Childrens Hospital and would recommend to anyone with a sick child!!
My son is 9 weeks old and had surgery on his head Tuesday. I was terrified but the doctors were great! There were 2 nurses that I absolutely loved! Thank you for making this experience as calming as possible ♡
I love this place for saving not one,but two of my kids lives
The Heart center is the best of the best, the staff was amazing with my very scared 15 month old daughter - even blowing bubbles for her during her ekg. You rock Children's!
