I've dealt with this twice now and go on enough about their excellent staff and how they really care about each and every child. This last time waswith my grandson who had surgery to remove a mass. They explained things to him so he could understand and not be frightened.
My son had surgery yesterday and the staff was beautiful. They went over and beyond my expectations. They made sure my son was comfortable on every level. Dr. Kieth Oldham and his team made sure I understood everything that went on from beginning to end. I appreciated everything from start to finish.
My son is deaf/blind and we have been going to Childrens since he was 6 days old. His eyes never developed in the womb and he was born at our local hospital in northern Wisconsin and no one had ever seen it before and I requested for us to be transferred down to Childrens. Yesterday we started the first evaluation process for candidacy with the Koss Cochlear Implant Program. Thank you to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin! Deklan was born at 32 weeks and an IUGR baby weighing in at 1 lb 10 oz in November 2015. He spent 63 days in the NICU. He is now thriving and weighs around 12 lbs at 10 months old! Our family cannot thank Childrens Hospital enough! They are an amazing team of nurses and doctors!!!
