Childrens is not the hospital it use to be. None of our family will ever be an in patient there again. I know many people that have had kids there long term and they feel the same. Take your kids to Judes or the UW system
We had an amazing experience when my 10 day old had to be transported from an outside hospital to children's with the transport team. They were amazing and all the nurses and Drs were great. I can't thank them all enough.
Our son had to spend 5 days in the children's hospital at Theda in Neenah to get antibiotics for an infection he had at birth. This obviously made it hard on my wife and I as we were not able to have him after he was born. However we immediatley felt warmth when we met the numerous Nurses that took care of our boy during this span of 5 days. The Valet Man was so sweet. The Doctor's Receptionist was not so much. But the nursing staff, Resident and Doctor were so nice.
I was admitted to Children's Hospital on October 18 through the 21 because I had bad Cellulitis on the right side of my face and that's why I had to stay there for three days and my Mom was with me at all times by making sure that I'm safe! I just had a rough night at the hospital because my face was hurting so bad where the split because we couldn't stop it from bleeding so that is why we packed up our stuff and then we went to the hospital so that I could be on I.V. antibiotics for a couple days!
