I love Children’s Hospital! The staff is amazing and so is the care!
I am so proud to have recently retired from CHW. It surely is a great place to work. I was on vacation and stopped at the visitors center in Algoma, WI. The lady behind the desk noticed my CHW jacket. She made a comment about it. She said if it werent for Children's Hospital her nephews baby might not have survived. He was born with a heart condition & needed immediate surgery. He is a very active 5 year old now.
Disappointing experience with the staff and personnel at the surgicenter. Had a scheduled tonsillectomy with Dr. Christopher Long that was canceled the Friday before a Monday surgery without even notifying the parents. The appointment was made a month in advance. My wife rearranged her entire schedule for the week to be with our son through recovery. No alternative time was made available when we arrived and no one seemed to care about the impact on the child or parents. Very disappointing experience overall and will be stro... read more
RecommendedMy daughter was born two weeks early by emergency C-section and was flown here for treatment because she was underweight and had a array of problems. They took great care of her in their NICU and got her healthy enough for us to bring her home. they kept her 17 days just to make sure she was healthy. I'm glad they sent her here. We stayed at the Ronald McDonald House across from this place and walked over there on the skywalk provided to be with my daughter everyday. Become more special needs friendly. Don't write kids off because of their diagnosis. Treat all kids as you would treat your own.
Incredible facility and elite staff. We cannot thank Children's enough for diagnosing and saving our 3 week old baby girls life. We won't forget all the faces that helped us through this chapter of our lives. I wouldn't have wanted her anywhere else�
By far the best children's hospital experience we've encountered so far. Dr. Sabina Siddiqui was a terrific surgeon to have. The day surgery staff to the preop staff (Katie) to the post op staff (Lindsey) were great. It was hard watching them walk with our 4 month old daughter Addison the opposite direction of us but she was in good hands. I would go back again and have the same staff and Dr. Siddqui again if we ever needed a pediatric surgeon for anything. The entire staff talked us through everything and gave us options.
