Physical therapy dept was clean and cool. People were nice and helpful.
We had to visit for some follow up stuff, and the staff was amazing. <3 My child was nervous but her nurse put her at ease so quickly and easily. She even hung out with us for about 5 minutes afterwards and looked at the aquarium. Complete stranger and felt like an old friend by the end. You've got some really special people on staff and it's awesome. <3

My son had dental surgery today by Dr. Al Hackman. My husband and I were very nervous about the surgery and EVERYONE who we saw was kind, considerate, professional, and caring. They took the time to answer questions we had and assured us that our son was in the best care possible. I'd like to personally thank all of the team that took care of our son today. So I just want to know why would children's make their playground across from the hospital hazardous there's even signs that tell you that it's for older kids but most of those children who come here are sick or hurt have broken bones they can't play over there I brought my three-year-old daughter and she can't play over there because it's all wires there's no swings the slides are high she scared of the slides it was a waste of money to build fr only kids that can play on that are big kids who are not sick or hurting maybe ... read more
My son has been sick and refused to drink anything. He was admitted for dehydration and I must say I'm very impressed with all of the staff at Dayton Children's. They're all very attentive and caring. They wouldn't discharge my son until he starting drinking on his own. All of the staff was consistently asking if we needed anything and checked up on him at least once and hour. It's just nice to be around people who clearly love their job and take it seriously. My sisters and I have been coming here our whole lives due to cystic fibrosis and during our two to three week stays the workers here usually go out of their way to take care of us and make sure we are comfortable for as long as I can remember. Usually when we are here there is always something awesome for us like getting our nails painted or cool crafts even for me at the age of 19 but today an amazing hair stylist team from Harmony hair salon in Centerville came in and made me and my sisters feel like celebrities and our h... read more
