Had to bring my Grandaughter in. The nurses were amazing. Always checking in to make sure everyone was doing ok. Thank you so much for turning a very bad experience in our lives, to something I hope my Daughter and Grandaughter can move past!♡
I have to say, I am really disappointed with Dayton Children's Hospital. Even though the hospital is In Network with my insurance company, NONE (not one) of their Emergency Room Doctors are In Network. I don't take my child to the ER to see a nurse!!! I take them to see a doctor, right?!? So, how can you allow this?!? Now your physician is charging me a $10.50/month late fee, even though I am paying them $40/month. We were in Dayton Childrens a lot with my son that had special needs from 1999 until he passed away in 2007. We were usually in the IMCU and never had an issue or even questioned how he was being cared for. All the doctors and nurses are awesome.
My Son was admitted to Dayton Children's NICU when he was born a month early with respiratory distress, they did a great job with him, there are some great nurses in the NICU for sure! My son is now home and doing great, I'm thankful for all the people at Dayton Children's for getting my son in tip top shape!
My baby boy was admitted with RSV, and the staff here have been absolutely amazing!! So caring and kind!! They helped my baby get back to his healthy, smiley, bubbly self and that I am so grateful for!!!
My daughter was very sick and she had one nurse named Elizabeth and she was the BEST nurse I've ever come across. My daughter had a huge connection to her and she helped keep her mind off the pain and her sickness. I'd love to find her on Facebook so she can see the progress of my daughter and to keep her close for my daughter because she's grown so attached to her.
After cincinnati children's sent my 3 year old home with out even spending more then two minutes with her, I took her to Dayton childrens and they saved her life, she would have died and would have been cincinnati childrens fault. Dayton childrens admitted her immediately and they were so nice and caring! Never going back to cincinnati childrens ever again, but will from now on be coming to dayton children's.
