From 2006-2012, I practically lived there. Multiple procedures, surgeries and in-patient stays. Because of my health issues I almost always had a private room which could get lonely at times but the staff always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and wasn't so lonely. With my complications, my mom usually did not want to leave my side and go to the Ronald McDonald House, so the staff made sure she was taken care of. My sons been going to Daytona children since he was born with cataracts. Both Dr blooms are by far the best.
I love children's but after 3 months they still can't tell us what is the matter
It is a great place the nurses and doctors are friendly my baby has a low weight and they are doing what they can to help him gain the needed weight slowly
This is the best hospital in the Miami valley fur illnesses or injuries of ur pride and joy(children). The nurses and doctors are friendly and professional. We traveled 2 hours because we heard it was good. We sat in a room for 2 hours never was checked on. I hit the call button twice because he was having a fit like why we needed help with and no one came either time. After sitting there that long finally a doctor came in she was incredibly rude told me that his assessment at that time was perfect of course it was cause he just had a fit before that and was sleepy. The only test they ran was an X ray which made no sense. Safe to say I will never bring my child here again.
My daughter has been visiting Dayton Children's since she was 1 day old and I think their awesome Neurology Dr.Lacey and Sara we love you but I've had some really bad experiences over the last 8 years in the ER
We were having issues with our doctor, my daughter was not getting the proper treatment. So we took her to Dayton Children's ER, they were absolutely wonderful. They took all the proper precautions and made sure she was taken care of properly before we were sent home.
