June 12, 2014 my daughter underwent ACL replacement surgery. Dr Mikutis was very meticulous and made sure she was very well taken care of. The other doctors and staff were wonderful and very pleasant. Ann Smith handled her physical therapy and was wonderful as well. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. But the kicker of the entire experience, my daughter now wants to become a pediatrician and may specialize in Orthopaedic Surgery because of the great care she received. I took my son to the ED last night for an obstruction in his ear. The nurse practitioner was completely useless. She did nothing to help my son. Instead, she sent someone in to try to flush it out for all of one minute. When it did not come out in this short time, the NP was ready to send us on our way, obstruction still in place, referred to an ENT. Enter Joshua McNeely, RN. My son got diagnosed here with a rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis after 2 years of fighting with other doctors. I knew something was wrong with my son. As soon as I brought him here they diagnosed him immediately. He now under goes chemotherapy and I can't say enough wonderful things about the nurses and doctors in the HemOnc clinic. They are the BEST. Hands down. I wouldn't want my son to be anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do!

We have been working with multiple specialist throughout Dayton Childrens since my son was born in 2012 with VATER/VACTREL. He sees cardiology, surgery, hematology, urology, and orthopedics. He was born with a condition that has affected multiple body systems. Dayton Children's has been with us since day one. My son is now over a year old and is doing amazing. We are so blessed to have such a great hospital. It is worth our 2 hour drive!!! The worst part is the billing from so many different companies, and physicians, etc.
