Although my daughter started with Dr Li over a year ago and was helping her, she really struggled again these past few months, Dr. Li has completely ghosted us. I tried reaching out by phone, text and email multiple times. The pharmacy even tried to reach out and never answered. It would have been nice to get some type of answer. So sad especially when Adolescent psychiatrists are hard to find nowadays.
I have not seen Dr. Li for years but I feel the need to post about him. He’s an excellent psychiatrist. I fired many before him. He knows his medications well and takes his time in correctly ascertaining a diagnosis. In my case he diagnosed what was missed by many before him. He is a one man show and organization is not his strength. But he’s worth the patience. He helped me tremendously and have a lot of gratitude towards him.
The issue right now with psychiatrists is that everyone needs one post Covid. Hire a secretary if you're that busy (heard from a client.)
I wish more people understood that not all psychiatrists and psychologists are gifted at what they do and that sometimes they do have to tell us things that are hard to hear to help us grow. There is a difference between that and being unkind or abusive. I’ve had an abusive psychiatrist before and Dr. Li is not that. I have never met a doctor of any specialty that has been willing to work so hard for me and with me. I can’t express my profound gratitude.
