Great people. My most important factor is comfortable beds, and they are comfortable. The lake is right next door, which is gorgeous and wonderful for walking. A small market is within 2 blocks. Taxis to downtown are about $15. All in all, if I had another extended stay, I would return.

The staff were helpful and kind; the pool was beautiful (the kids swam in it); the room was a king suite and we had a sofa bed and rollaway for the boys. Housekeeping made up both beds for the boys. The restaurant was reasonable and the view of Lake Michigan fantastic. Don't be afraid of giving it a chance. It isn't a new hotel but we enjoyed our stay. The free parking and shuttle service is a big plus. Thanks Ramada.

I am so sorry to hear about your son Jonathon and the feelings you have at this monemt. I can only grieve when you grieve, as losing a son is so traumatic. I pray that God will see you through this as time goes by and just know that He is indeed with you all. I personally feel that Ramada Inn is one of the hotels with reasonable room traiffs offering standard quality of food, rooms, services. Especially, we enjoyed the quality and quantity of complimentary breakfast that is been offered. Room service was good

Tom, It was great having you as our vidhegrapeor, you were so easy to work with & fun too! We (especially Jared, and after him not wanting video in the first place!!) were so looking forward to our highlights, and actually got them on our 2nd to last day in Jamaica! The video is wonderful and really captured some of the great moments we had, my mom and I are still trying to figure out how you managed to get the video of Tara tackling Steve all the way in the hallway!?! Thank you so much, we can't wait to see our final video.... read more

This hotel is conveniently located on Lake Shore Blvd. Great place to view Lake Michigan and the downtown City lights. The hotel is not in tiptop shape but everything worked, was clean and very quiet. I stayed in the main hotel. The free parking was appealing if you have searched for hotels in downtown Chicago that don't charge for parking.
