Superb restaurant. Fishermen fish every day from the sea and deliver to this hotel. They give fresh fish dishes at a reasonable price. They have also smoky fishes. Almost all types of seafood are available here like shrimps, prawns, lobsters, squids, pomfret. Good and polite staff.

Clean property in a handy, Hyde Park, Chicago location. Lakeshort was just across the highway. The furnishings and decor is nicely updated and very clean. Desk staff were efficient and pleasant. There is a reasonably priced breakfast available on the property. All was good but the best value and enjoyment for our family was the free shuttle. There are 2 standard routes - one to the U of Chicago and one to standard drop spots at John Hancock/downtown. We stayed at the property for Thanksgiving week. The staff is friendly and the rooms were kept clean (daily). Our room had a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel offered a free shuttle which dropped us off by the John Hancock. We took the metra (a 5 minute walk from the front door) most times to enjoy the theater and other activities in downtown Chicago. For the price we paid, it was well worth our stay. We stayed 2 nights and found everything to be just fine. The hotel is clean, is updated and in good order, the staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast that is well priced, in a great dining room, good service too. Great value! The location is great for visits to UChicago or any family& friends living in Hyde Park within a few blocks of the lake. Taxi stand right there too. I would stay there again.

I would definitely stay there again. The front desk service was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us find the right bus routes to get to the sites (when the shuttle wasn't available. The room was clean. It offered free parking.

I was pleasantly surprised by everything at this hotel. Free parking in Chicago?! Outstanding! EXCEPTIONALLY friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, etc. all added up to a great experience.

the staff were very committed to the customers, were friendly and helpful. The room was warm, clean and everything worked. Very quiet- heard no one for the whole week while I was there- there were people in near by rooms.
