The service was friendly, the bacon appetizer was delicious and wine and chocolate cake for dessert were so good. My husband ordered a rib eye and it was amazing, would definitely go back if we were having just that. I ordered whitefish and it was bland and overcooked. The sides were OK. This was our first time to Chicago Cut Steakhouse and will certainly not be our last! Impeccable service combined with phenomenal food and ambiance made the perfect "fancy dinner night" for our family.
For our first time here and comparing it to the other steak places we have been to in Chicago... The lobster appetizer was amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, we ordered the porter house double cut medium rare/ medium for the price we expected it to be that... but it came out to be well done/ medium well and super dry ⭐️ The drinks were okay as well all we can taste is the alcohol⭐️⭐️ Asparagus was good ⭐️⭐️ and the lobster Mac and cheese was ⭐️... I had been here before and was so impressed with the food and service that I recommended this place for a 25th and 30th belated birthday celebration and most of the group was excited since they had never been here before but we were all very disappointed with the service and I was very embarrassed to have suggested Chicago Cut. One member of the dinner party was left without utensils even after the steaks were served. She sat there for a bit before another member of our party grabbed a new set from an empty table next to us.... read more

Conor's Corner...sweet little spot in the bar...loved our waitress. The crab cake and tuna tartare were great appetizers...totally impressed these Californians
