Chicago Athletic Association is an historic 1890's monument to the big-shouldered, can-do spirit that defines Chicago, transformed into an incomparable hotel with commanding views across Millennium Park and downtown Chicago. This long-vacant Venetian Gothic landmark on Michigan Avenue springs back to life as a hotel and mecca for inspired recreation. It's personal here, because the soul of Chicago is a kind of club-and on our team, everyone belongs.

Awesome place. Wonderful staff. Comfortable room. The Cherry Circle Room Bar is excellent. The Milk Room is something to experience at least once in your life.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I’ve stayed several times and every time I stay I notice something new about the building! I’ve eaten at the Cherry Circle Room for dinner and brunch and the service has always been outstanding. Cindy’s Rooftop is a must see as well! I love their frose popsicle. This past weekend we enjoyed sitting next to the fireplace with a good glass of wine in the Drawing Room. Can’t wait to stay again!
Beautiful hotel. As a guest in the hotel we found that the hotel seems to be geared towards the public and guests actually staying in the hotel are an afterthought.
Great location; Overall hotel was just average. I was hoping for terrific and spectacular. A $17 martini should take up more than half of a champagne glass.
Nice atmosphere, great drinks, closes a bit early.
Cindy’s was amazing and it is the coolest hotel I have ever stayed.
Our favorite hotel has always been the Whitehall, but we now have a new contender. The beauty and attention to detail of this beautifully renovated hotel is phenomenal. We’ve been here two nights and have been impressed with the incredible service of everyone. We had dinner at Cindy’s Rooftop last night...our salmon on braised red cabbage and the duck confit were both amazing and perfect for sharing. The views were fantastic....worth standing outside on the balcony even at 10 degrees. We’ll definitely be returning.
