Went to St. Joe emergency room on Saturday, August 21, 2021 with an excruciating headache and was vomiting. The doctor did not even walk in my room. He stood in the doorway. My blood pressure was 190/89. Not a biggie I guess. I needed relief from my head and was sent home just the way I came in.

I always go to St. Baptism Hospital but because my dads doctors are from St. Joseph hospital decided to come to St. Joseph Hospital. Worst mistake, I have ever made. My dad has wounds due to his stroke in his body we arrived last night November 23rd, I was told my dad was getting admitted. It I s now almost 8am on the 24th of November and yep still sitting here waiting. My dad needs to be moved every 2 hours because his stroke left him paralyzed and nothing still sitting here. Sent Mom home with an undiagnosed broken hip. My mother had a bad fall last week and ambulance took her to St. Joseph. We were there 8 hours. After many hours doctor informed us nothing was broken and she wanted her to walk. Nurse came in and lifted her. Mom started to drop, said she couldn't move her foot. I looked down and saw her foot was skewed at a really weird angle and said something was clearly wrong and they needed to do more tests. Nurse apparently reported "she refuses to walk". I guess it's going make me give you one star before it will let me write a review witch I really give you a 0 star I came up there on April the first at three o'clock in the morning hurting so bad that I couldn't walk and all you all done is hurt me more I will never come back to your hospital again they gave me Tylenol witch don't work for me and on top of that all I heard was your people cursing about outher people and making fun of people ( ps) I hope you all have the kind of pain that I'm having and I hope you get the sa... read more

If it was possible to give zero stars then that is what I would rate this hospital. I went in 2016 and tried to apply for financial aid at that time. Applying was a process in itself, I thought it was squared away then FOUR YEARS LATER a debt collector harassed me to pay over $1000. I called to see if I was approved for financial assistance and it was never even processed. I have probably spent at least two days collectively trying to figure out what is going on with this bill. Came in with sharp pain in my side at 7:20 and did not even see a doctor until after midnight. No one in emergency room had no urgency and did not seem to care. I agree with others is there a zero star.

I am extremely furious at this point!! This hospital did open heart surgery on my Mom on Monday, January 4th. They have lost all her personal belongings including her purse, wallet, blank checks, credit cards, medicare and medicaid cards, glasses, clothes, shoes and cell phone. We are still trying to get answers and no one seems to know anything!? I also just received a call saying they let her slide out of a chair and hit the floor. My wife and I showed up at the ER 0142 because of sharp pain on her side. We were admitted right away and taken care of by a wonderful red hair nurse (you know who you are). We quickly learn it was kidney stones and they CTed my wife to confirmed. By the time it she was scanned she had pass one already. James was super friendly! The physician was more than pleasant too. All considerate, it was a "pleasant" experience!

Came into the ER, everyone was very professional and quick! They took great care of me and I appreciated it greatly.
