I've had nothing but great luck and great cars from there. Service was great too.
Went in to sell them a car. Staff was pushy and tried to get me to sign a blank power of attorney giving them the right to do anything they wanted with the car. When I refused and told the lady in the back office there was no way I'd sign that, she got incredibly rude and begrudgingly completed proper sales paperwork. Don't sell your car here unless you're willing to cut corners.
After having so many issues with Willis Chevrolet in Smyrna I went to Chevrolet of Dover and they are wonderful. They gave me great customer service and listened to my concerns with out making me feel like a burden. Thank you very much Beth and Jordan!!
I have a 2014 Impala that the outlet tube is dry rotted at 47k miles. They told me since it was not a recall on it that it is not a warranted part. I also had rear wheel bearings that was replaced at 38 k miles. Which I had to pay 300+ dollars, which I told them it was covered, which later they sent me a check. There is a couple of great customer service workers there but overall I will find another authorized dealer to service my impala. I love the car but hate the service
My first experience with Dover Chevy as we purchased our vehicle from previous owner (Townsend). I was treated professionally and all service was performed as described by the service manager and car was delivered at the time promised. It was also exterior washed! Great Job!
We were traveling in Dover and needed to reprogram our navigation to the airport. We couldn't get it to work and pulled into this car dealership. The president of the company Matthew Kersey came out fixed it and got us on our way. He also gave us his number in case we had anymore issues. You don't meet many people that are willing to go that extra mile anymore but we met one then . Worst experience ever! The general manager, Charles said to come pick up the vehicle for agreed price. When we arrived used car manager Thomas said they would not agree on that price after agreeing. Someone suddenly had amnesia. I felt horrible for the salesperson who "sold" the car on Friday & was waiting for us to pick up on Monday. Sadly, I thought that buying from a veteran owned business was a good idea but I will never again shop there & I will spread the word.
