I like the operation at Cherry Creek Grooming. No BS. The dogs always look good, they don't freak out afterward so I figure they're okay being there. Thanks for everything!
Nobody Does It Better! – We moved away from Austin years ago, but we still make the drive all the way back down south because nobody does it like Cherry Creek Grooming! My dog gets excited every time she gets here and she always look beautiful when I pick her back up. Thank you Cherry Creek!
Not happy – I took heard about this place by word of mouth. I took llasa apso my puppy for a TRIM. When I picked him up my poor dog was shivering because he has almost no hair! I specificly said I wanted him to keep his beautiful coat long and they totally disregarded what I said. My puppy had several cuts and to top it all of he got Fleas. Come on!! Wouldn't Board Here – Guy was nice on phone when I initially called for a quote for dogs to stay Saturday night...told me $20 per dog. Gave me options for drop off/pick up and I told him I would drop off early am Saturday and pick up at 5 PM on Sunday. Showed up to drop dogs off and place was hot, muggy, and smelled of urine. By that time it was too late to back out, since I had to get on the road. Picked them up Sunday, place was at least 90 degrees, and was told I would be charged $80.....what?? No Longer A Customer – I have been taking my dogs to Cindy's off and on for several years and lately the service and friendliness has declined to the point that it's not worth taking my dogs there anymore. Today, I picked up my dog and paid $45 for just a trim. She was last cut in June. I noticed on the way home, that they did a very poor job on trimming her face. Disappointment – Started doing business with Cherry Creek after they purchased Cindy's Grooming in 2004. Prior to that I had been doing business for about twenty years with Cindy. The service has gone down with each visit since the new owners took over. Today my dog was cut by the trimmers and seems to be traumatized. The employees are rude and abrupt. Today was our LAST visit. Such a shame that such a formerly outstanding place is declining so rapidly.
Wonderful Locally Owned Business – Once I discovered this place I took my Toy Poodle there for the last 6 yrs of her life, and and now take my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (for the past 2 1/2 yrs). In 8 1/2 yrs of service, they have always done what I wanted and taken the best of care with my babies. Personally I don't mind writing a check, but if you do, they take cash as well. :^)
Excellent Groomer, no issues – We took our poodle mix in today to get groomed. I will be the first to admit that this dog is terrible when it comes to bad behavior when being groomed. Very nippy and screams bloody murder. He was actually groomed at Petsmart a few months ago, and they told us he was not welcome back. Anyhow, I digress. Cindy's did an excellent job on him today. best hair cut ever – Wow its nice to go to a place that really knows what there doing. Just moved to Austin and was very pleased with my dogs haircut, the service and the super nice people there. They did just what I asked. Forty bucks for my shihtzue and thirty for the works on my lab. I'm not going anywhere else.
