I have taken litters of puppies to this facility for 3 years, for a 'well-check' exam, before new owners take possession. They have always charged me for the office visit plus $5.00 per puppy for a 2-minute exam. This year they charged me $23.50 per puppy! My attempt to reason with them was futile and I was treated with disrespect as in "the check was cashed- tough for you!" Since when is GOUGING a customer acceptable? Shame on them! Better Business Bureau couldn't help-maybe Small Claims Court can. A letter to the owner got ... read more

I just moved to Johnson City over the summer (albeit, just moved from Greeneville). Regardless, when my wife and I adopted a cat, I was skeptical about taking him to a vet other than the one we had both used and trusted in Greeneville when we were growing up. Dr. Sallee does a wonderful job with our cat and put my mind at ease about our cat’s health and treatment. The rest of the staff are also great and friendly.

Make correct diagnosis when pets are evaluated. My dog had Lymphom...the vet at Cherokee diagnosed, and hospitalized for pancreatitis. The UT Vet Hospital in Knoxville said my dog NEVER had pancreatitis.

Brought our dog there months ago and all they did was give him pain pills and said he'd be fine. WRONG! Turns out he's had a slipped disc the whole time. We won't be back.

Our Beautiful Plum has had nothing but wonderful experiences here at Cherokee. When we rescued her last July, she had multiple health issues that needed to be taken care of. She is now in great health and have only had to visit for little things like UTIs. They have been so patient with us and our girl. Dr. Carpenter has been so wonderful to our beautiful girl, and we are so thankful for all of the staff that care for our Plum. They always squeeze her in when we need it, and I’ve even seen them fit in walk ins when a dog has... read more
