The Aventura Emergency Department is really horrible. Had a horrible experience last night. They only sent a nurse in to order all exams and tests and I kept asking to speak to a doctor 5 and a half hours later and no physician came to see me. I came in with severe abdominal pain, fever and elevated heart rate. They offered no pain relief AT ALL, no one was concerned enough with my elevated heart rate to even do an EKG.
