Worst Hospital in South Florida. My grandmother was attending about 14days ago due to Covid. To this day, we have not had a phone call with a clear picture of her status or were she is at with the treatment. She was moved to ICU to supposedly have better treatment with the nurses and it been even more choatic. We were asked if we wanted to put her on a Ventilator or Morphine because she was not improving to then be called hours later that her condition was not critical and moving her out of ICU. Broken foot and when I call for help to bathroom they act like I’m bothering them , back in room by 2:00 but no food till 6:00 even after begging. Called every emergency number and they were routed to the nurses station on my floor. Not my first time here, but definitely my last. Other hospitals around will never subject my self to such abuse again.
A good hospital watch it ., they are expert on over-billing requesting test unnecessary test and way overcharging patients .. not so honest in that dept
Normally I would never give a bad review however I visited Mount Sinai Aventura and have had a few non favorable experiences. One visit I actually left Mount Sinai where they told me nothing was wrong and the doctor was extremely rude and told me I could diagnose myself. Immediately leaving, I went to another ER where they diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection, placed me on breathing treatments and antibiotics.
