Great hospital, I have seen doctors at this hospital for years and I have always been treated with respect and care. I had a surgical procedure done and had to stay in the hospital overnight. All the nurses and staff were amazing. Great doctors, amazing care.
The medical treatment is good, but the inability to recognize gender pronouns for a person transitioning their gender is disrespectful at the very best. The doctors have saved my life a few times, but transport staff is stuff in their own LITTLE minds about how the Real world actually works. The last thing I want to hear is "SIR" when I was run over in a hit and run. Seriously for a teaching hospital, the bedside manner of the next gen medical staff leaves a lot to be desired.
