Excellent doctor. I have been to numerous neurologists and she has been the best so far. She takes her time with you and is very thorough. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing neurology care.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shugars for 3 years. I have difficulty swallowing, it’s so bad that I haven’t been able to eat in 3 years. She’s diagnosed me with Seronegative MG, although she has admitted that’s she’s not actually sure what disease I have and that she’s just guessing. She’s pretty good to me I’m just disappointed and frustrated that in 3 years, she still isn’t able to fix my swallowing. I was recently diagnosed with ALS and myasthenia gravis by another neurologist in Texas. I just moved to a town outside of Chattanooga, TN to be closer to my family, so I had to find another neurologist to help me through this nightmare.
