Dinner on the 21st was a Birthday Surprise for my husband. We have watched Vivian's show for a couple of yrs and kept saying we wanted to go so I made sure it happened. He got the Pork chop and was very pleased. He said it was the best he has had anywhere. All of the wait staff was great and made sure Tom enjoyed his meal. I just wish we lived closer. We will be back.
It is the most amazing place ever!!! Loved it! You have to experience it!
I recommend the creamed corn pizza, tuna entree and the budino dessert!

We are fans of the tv show so we decided to take a vacation to North Carolina and stop at the Chef and the Farmer on the way home. Everything was awesome! The staff greeted us at the door- we were early- and seated us immediately. We started with the flash fried collards which were interesting- tasting like potato chips except green! My husband and I have had the pleasure to dine at Chef and the Farmer twice. Both times, we have ordered one starter, one appetizer, and one dinner that we share. We are very full by the time we finish! This gives us an opportunity to taste different dishes that we wouldn't normally do since it's so filling. It is, by far, one of the best meals we have eaten and we can not wait to see what spectacular dishes will be awaiting us on our next visit!
