Hello Amanda N Richard – Thank you for visiting us and for writing your review!
I have been a fan of Vivian since she first started her show. We planned a road trip to come and enjoy. We had a hard time finding the restaurant. It took 30 minutes to get our beverage. Our server was snippy and the food was just okay. The lima bean spread was inedible. My cocktail cost 13.00. Really?
This was our first visit to the Chef and Farmer. The food was delicious and the staff was tops!. We especially loved the Not Carrot Cake dessert. Highly recommend putting this restaurant on your list to visit. Very nice atmosphere too.

Hello Janice – We are beyond delighted and honored to be one of the best dining experiences of your life - THANK YOU! We hope you all will join us for dinner again soon.
This was my first time here. It was incredible! The collards were delicious! Crispy like a chip. The shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had! And the staff....everyone was so welcoming. Dining alone while traveling isn’t always fun. I had so many people come and welcome me and introduce themselves. I felt like I was in someone’s home and part of the family. I can’t wait to come back to Kinston!
