If you take any advice at all, do not stay there
On a recent trip to Halifax with my Mom, I had a very troubling experience at this motel involving what I believe to be credit card fraud by an employee. Upon check-in, a $400 hold was placed on my card for a room costing $189.16. I was told this was standard procedure and that the hold would convert to the room charge after confirming no damage. At checkout, I was informed the hold would be released, and the staff member took my card to process the final payment. Instead of charging $189.16, he mistakenly entered $1,891.65.... read more
Room was comfortable. Floor was vinyl, so this is great for people with allergies, you avoid dust from carpets. The outside of the Inn is old, there are outdoor stairs to the upper level. The location of this property is a short drive to the Halifax boardwalk. The food at the restaurant was decent, we only had breakfast there. The waitresses were very friendly.
