If you take any advice at all, do not stay there
On a recent trip to Halifax with my Mom, I had a very troubling experience at this motel involving what I believe to be credit card fraud by an employee. Upon check-in, a $400 hold was placed on my card for a room costing $189.16. I was told this was standard procedure and that the hold would convert to the room charge after confirming no damage.
